Description:
Our client, a leading law firm located in downtown Toronto, is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to assist with all aspects of the firm's finance. As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing financial reports, performing financial analysis, building financial models, and supporting financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

- Participate actively in month-end and quarter-end processes and prepare financial packages with variance analysis for the organization.
- Build or update financial models and datasets to support analysis and decision-making.
- Lead weekly and monthly management reporting with supporting commentary to drive appropriate actions.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reporting and variance analysis to support cash flow forecasting.
- Work collaboratively with other teams to resolve system-related issues and support implementation testing.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of firm costs and expenses and support planning and forecasting for various enabling areas.
- Drive key initiatives by identifying areas for improvement and developing tools for further analysis, tracking, and presentation.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree and relevant professional designation (CPA, CA, CMA).
- 3+ years of progressive experience in a finance role in a fast-paced matrix environment.
- Strong knowledge of business fundamentals and financial acumen with exceptional communication skills.
- Expertise in Excel with the ability to handle large datasets and summarize information concisely (SQL scripting an asset).
- Experience with Aderant and BI tools (Microsoft BI - SSRS or Power BI experience an asset).
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written), and presentation skills (bilingual an asset).
- Ability to work in a team environment and manage competing priorities in an agile environment.
