Labourers are responsible for providing physical labor support during all phases of construction. Labourers provide support in all areas such as moving materials, clearing terrain, site prep, and basic equipment operation.

We are looking for someone that is punctual as well as a quick learner to join our team at D&S Bulldozing.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- A minimum of 6 months experience in the construction industry is required
- Be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 lbs, bend and crouch for extended periods of time, climb in and out of trenches and up and down ladders
- Have a basic understanding of construction materials and tools
- A valid BC driver's license (class 5) and own transportation is required
- Needs to be motivated and work well with other team members
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Use of Personal Protection Equipment is required.

**RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES**:

- Load, unload and move construction materials around the worksite.
- Manually remove large rocks and debris turned up by heavy equipment, ensuring all revealed rocks and debris are clear before equipment makes further passes.
- Signal operators of construction equipment and delivery of materials, to facilitate alignment and movement of materials.
- Ensure work site is organized and free of clutter, rubble and garbage.
- Operate equipment, such as pneumatic hammers, vibrators, tampers, and skid steer as needed.
- Attend and participate in all tailgate meetings, topics, concerns
- Ensure all small tools are properly maintained and stored
- Other general labour and construction-related duties as required.
- Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines
- Fully understanding and following D&S bulldozing policies

$19 Demolition work
$19 Machine operator assistant

$22 hazmat removal
