Sales Representative

QMC Metering Solutions is a national provider of smart multi-utility submetering solutions. We supply and integrate several meter technologies to effectively monitor the consumption of electricity, water, gas and thermal energy consumption of commercial and residential properties. We have offices in Coquitlam, Calgary, and Toronto and have a support and distribution network across the country including Edmonton and Montreal.
**As a member of the BC sales team, the Sales Representative will work with a team to**:
- Continually contact existing client base with new product information, updates and general client relations management
- Develop new customers using inside & outside sales strategies
- Develop new business opportunities with existing clientele
- Provide quotations and service contracts to new and existing customers
- Provide quotations and manage project tendering process
- Present product line and service offering in boardroom meetings and lunch and learn presentations
- Represent QMC at industry related conferences and seminars and participate in industry related panels and boards.
- Participate in industry association functions and meetings
- Provide training, support and service as required to clients
- Provide feedback to management of potential business opportunities and new technologies in the marketplace.
**Qualifications** **/ Experience**:
- Bachelor degree in Instrumentation, Process controls, Industrial engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or post secondary education in business, energy management or measurement and verification (or similar);
- Working knowledge or central Hydronic HVAC and domestic water and gas distribution in Multi-residential or commercial properties
- 1-3 years of direct or B2B sales experience
- Energy efficiency training, such SEMAC program or LEED GA.
- Knowledge of green building certifications, such as LEED and BOMA BEST.
- 1-2 years property management experience would be considered an asset.
- Capability to analyze energy data to identify anomalies and discrepancies.
- Personable with the ability to interact with a diverse range of personality types and customers (property managers, ops managers, engineers, energy managers, contractors, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional organization skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing tasks with a varying degree of complexity.
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM software an asset.

**Salary**: $31,300.00-$117,286.86 per year
