**Responsibilities of Maintenance Worker**:

- Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment
- Perform continual preventative maintenance
- Handle basic repairs and maintenance
- Oversee contractors when professional repairs are required
- Diagnosing mechanical and physical maintenance issues and repairing them
- Drywall installation, painting and repairing as required
- Order and pick up materials required for repairs as needed
- All other duties as required and assigned.

**Requirements of Maintenance Worker**:

- Working from height certificate
- Prior experience in long-term care is an asset
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to interact with staff, residents, families, community professionals and various outside partners

**Salary**: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
