Cannabis Sales Associate

Winnipeg, Canada The Cannabis Market Full time

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Greet and welcome customers, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere
- Assist customers in the selection and purchase of cannabis products, based on their individual needs and preferences
- Educate customers on the effects, benefits, and potential risks of different cannabis products and strains
- Accurately process transactions and ensure cash handling procedures are followed
- Maintain knowledge of current cannabis laws and regulations
- Keep up to date with industry trends and new products to provide informed recommendations to customers
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of products
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety and health regulations

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working in Cannabis retail is considered an asset
- Knowledge of cannabis products and their effects
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- **A valid smart choices certificate is required for this position**

Pay: From $15.30 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Every Weekend
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed
