**_ Our TRACTION team is currently looking for a Sales Manager._**
**_ The territory to be covered includes the greater Montreal area, Ottawa and Abitibi._**
**_ UAP offers a range variety of benefits such as a complete insurance plan upon hiring, a pension fund, and much more_**
**_ You main responsibilities will be:_**
- Work closely with sales reps (12) and store managers on the planning and implementation of specific sales development initiatives. Lead district sales development efforts and manages the implementation of sales tools, (including prospecting for large clients)
- Together with sales reps under his/her supervision, you will be accountable for achieving Sales objectives (budget) by, among other things, promoting TRACTION marketing programs to district customers.
- Recruit, develop, assess, train and motivate your sales team. Plan and follow-up sales development efforts with them and develop and implement corrective action plans as required.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with your sales team and the entire corporate stores staff within your district.
- Stay abreast of market developments in his/her district; changes to product lines; new technologies and competitors’ strategies.
- Implement Corporate and Regional sales development initiatives in order to maintain market position and remain one step ahead of the competition.
- Follow-up regularly on District Sales results by producing weekly and monthly performance reports.

To join our team, you need:_**
- Community College or University Degree (asset), Marketing major or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of heavy duty parts (asset)
- 5-8 years of sales experience, 3 of which supervising staff.
- Bilingualism depending on District.
- Good knowledge and abilities using Microsoft Office.
- **_ Ability to travel 50% of the time_**
