**Responsibilities / Duties include, but are not limited to**:

- Responsible for following all safety requirements as discussed during orientation.
- Responsible for the accurate completion of all BRC documentation and HACCP system procedures, including any and all established testing or grading requirements. Responsible for verifying and filing relevant HACCP paperwork.
- Perform raw material sampling, sensory review and support QC technicians to ensure finished quality, as assigned.
- Work very closely with the Production department, Research and Development and Supplier Quality to ensure products meet the approved specification and quality parameters.
- Responsible for COA verification, shelf life review, approved supplier program and ingredient receiving practices, as assigned.
- Responsible for identification and reporting of raw material quality issues
- Entering data on computer accurately and efficiently using Microsoft excel and other online customer databases.
- Ability to use product specification to review raw material product standards.
- Must cross train to cover duties such as quality grading, GMP inspection, pre-operational inspection monitoring, environmental swabbing.
- Must follow “Good Manufacturing Practices” (GMP’s) and lead by example.
- Participate in daily team meetings; communicate any changes, issues, etc. to production manager.
- Maintain a neat work area, cleaning / housekeeping of lab area.
- Any additional duties as assigned by Manager

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Grade 12 education, equivalent experience.
- Possess strong administrative skills with the ability to navigate (or the desire to learn) various software systems including Microsoft Office
- Willingness to participate in audits
- Ability to work well with plant supervision and production employees.
- Team player with excellent attendance.
- Possess analytical, organizational and attention-to-detail skills
- Ability to accept and embrace change in the fast paced environment.
