AlgaeCal is looking for a badass **Chief Marketing Officer** to skyrocket revenue and lead an ambitious growth strategy.

- **You’ll use your powers for good.** This isn’t one of those jobs that crush your soul. On the contrary Every month 125,000 people are told they have osteoporosis. Your job is to reach them in a cost effective way, and spread a powerful message - bone loss is beatable.
- **You won’t be micromanaged. **We’ll give you a simple set of KPIs with crystal clear expectations.
- **It’s not a sweatshop** (mostly because the AC works). If you recognize that line, you’ll be relieved to know this isn’t one of those Madison Avenue gigs that expects you to work ridiculously long hours and frowns upon family time. We’re not like that We work very hard, but we also enjoy our life, and we want you to enjoy yours too.

**This role might be for you if you’ve got**
- Experience in scaling a direct to consumer eCommerce brand from $30MM to $150MM+.
- 8+ years of leading a multi-channel eCommerce business. Bonus if it’s in the Health & Wellness space. We expect you’ll have strong opinions about multi-touch attribution, optimized UX/UI design, lead gen, funnel building, breakeven ROAS, etc.
- 5+ years of performance managing a team of 5+ Direct Reports. (Our marketing team is about 30 strong in total, but 4-6 will report directly to you)
- A Yoda-like ability to make strategic decisions based on data.
- Strategy that converts like a tent revival. Show us how you’ve increased the conversion rates of shopping carts, websites, and landing pages. There’s no ifs, ands, or buts about it - you’ll need at least 8 years of experience as a **digital leader** to succeed in this role.
- A brain the size of a small planet In this role, you’ll need to think imaginatively and act strategically to drive sales.
- A thick portfolio that demonstrates your mastery of all-things eCommerce. Sorry, but if you have to Google what a ‘X-channel management’ is; or don’t know what ‘COGS’ stands for, then this isn’t the job for you.
