**Position Overview**
RIZON Trucks Canada is a commercial electric truck brand developed and manufactured by the Daimler Truck Group, a global leader in the transportation industry. Rizon Trucks Canada has an exciting opening for a District Sales Manager - West based out of our Surrey, BC location. This role is responsible for managing sales in western Canada. **Duties and Responsibilities**
- Create and maintain Sales collateral for Dealership Sales personnel and prospective customers.
- Serve as Single Point of Contact for Dealership Sales personnel for technical and business questions.
- Support Sales personnel in customer meetings to explain the benefits of the product.
- Review and manager order board
- Forecast future Sales and communicate with Daimler.
- Identify high priority requested new features/options and communicate to Daimler for future implementation.
- Actively communicate with Daimler to get information pertinent to Sales.
- Collaborate with various departments to develop and implement processes and policies needed to streamline Sales.
- Analyze and report project progress by pro-actively communicating status to Management.
- Analyze risks and opportunities.
- Proactively develop solutions to day-2-day problems and have a drive to learn and collaborate with others.
- Travel within the region as required
- Additional tasks as instructed.
**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or another related field (preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in the Automotive Industry
- 5+ years of experience in Truck Sales
- 5+ years of supervisory experience
- 3+ years' experience with electric powertrains
- Strong understanding of the trucking industry with focus on Class 4/5
- Strong communication skills both verbally and written in English - additional languages preferred.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Strong team player
- Willingness to learn and overcome obstacles.
- Experience in Project Management (preferred)
