**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the Director, Human Resources and Corporate Services, this position performs a variety of day-to-day administrative Human Resource System functions ensuring data integrity and the timely and accurate processing and reporting of HR data.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Timely and accurate entry of all employee lifecycle HRIS system inputs and supports HRMS transactions including management of more advanced data, tables and structures
- Actively confirming accuracy and integrity of all data entered into the HR systems, by continuously reviewing, auditing and editing inputs and monitoring outputs for system issues
- Partner closely with members of the Payroll and HR team to ensure accurate update of employee information for payroll processing in a timely manner
- Ensuring the HR system information is available on a timely basis in support of business processes that rely on HR systems data
- Support in monitoring interfaces and customizations to ensure data accuracy
- Produces standardized, recurring and ad hoc reports as required by management
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with Payroll, IT, Finance and teams within Human Resources to ensure business processes, service and support levels are met as it pertains to HR systems data
- Provides administrative support such as preparing and composing confidential correspondence
- Key contact for the time and attendance system which include profile set up, support/training employees/managers on usage of system, and schedule management
- Support, investigate and troubleshoot any data or system issues, and escalate as appropriate
- Under the guidance of the Senior Advisor, HR Systems, support the maintenance of all HR systems documentation including training materials, procedures, and technical documentation
- Continuously seek ways for process/system improvements to meet changing needs
- Ensure other users of GTAA HR Systems are updated and made aware of changes to the systems
- Build and maintain strong relationships both within Human Resources and throughout the organization to ensure client requirements are met

**Qualifications**:

- University Degree or college diploma in Business, Human Resources or a related field
- Minimum of 2 to 3 year’s work experience within Human Resources, with exposure to Human Resources Systems
- Knowledge of the applicable principles, practices and standards of human resource administration
- HRIS experience in data management, analysis and reporting
- Experience with UKG UltiPro and Kronos considered an asset
- Able to obtain and retain Transportation Security Clearance at the designated level for the position

- Ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a face past environment with competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Show of initiative and timeliness and in some cases working with a sense of urgency
- Strong oral and written communication skills

The GTAA is a federally regulated private sector. The Government of Canada has suspended mandatory vaccination requirement for federally regulated transportation sector workers. The GTAA continues to monitor government and health developments relating to COVID -19 and may re-introduce the Vaccination and proof of Vaccination requirements in the Policy at any time.
