We are currently seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Parts Counter Person to join our team.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers have access to the right parts and components. Your exceptional customer service skills, technical knowledge and attention to detail will contribute to the continued success of our business.

**Details**:

- Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers in identifying and selecting the right parts for their specific needs.
- Utilize your technical and mechanical knowledge to accurately identify and locate parts, using part numbers and compatibility information.
- Handle customer inquiries and requests promptly and professionally.
- Provide accurate price quotes and process transactions efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines for handling and storing parts.
- Assist in handling returns and processing warranty claims in line with company policies.
- Keep up to date with the latest product releases and industry developments to better assist customers.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized parts area.
- Perform occasional warehouse duties as required.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (some post-secondary education in heavy-duty or automotive parts is a plus).
- Previous experience in a similar role within the industry is preferred.
- Strong product knowledge and the ability to quickly learn about new parts and components.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency with computer systems and software for inventory management and order processing.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Problem-solving and teamwork capabilities.
- Standing and some moderate to heavy lifting (up to 80 pounds).
