**SUMMARY**:
Ensure the highest level of security compliance during each shift. Provide guidance and leadership to security officers on their shift ensuring the security of casino assets, the facility, staff, and guests. The Security Supervisor will ensure that all members of the security team consistently, diplomatically, and professionally maintain good relations with patrons and staff. The Security Supervisor will also ensure that all duties are successfully accomplished in accordance with Alberta Gaming, Liquor, and Cannabis commission’s terms and conditions, Century Casino Operating Guidelines, and Century Casino Policy and Procedures. The Security Supervisor will act in compliance with all local, provincial, and federal laws and regulations.

**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**

The Security Supervisor is responsible for the conduct of his or her team during each shift. This includes assigning duties and tasks to Security Team Members and managing/monitoring results; holding team members accountable for noncompliance; conducting routine training, coaching, and mentoring; addressing and managing complaints, grievances, or concerns; organizing the team to effectively respond to all urgent and non-urgent situations.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

Demonstrated leadership experience in a Security role; effective communication skills; exceptional customer service experience and the ability to manage difficult customers, staff and situations.

**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**

Graduation from High School or equivalent. A minimum of two (2) years of recent and related experience in a similar security leadership role.

**CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS**

**LANGUAGE SKILLS**

Demonstrated effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills using English.

**MATHEMATICAL SKILLS**

Basic Math skills are required.

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**

**MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED**

Various security related equipment, including digital cameras, portable two-way radios, emergency first aid equipment, fire control panel and surveillance equipment. General office equipment is also used, including computers, photocopiers, staplers and tape.
