**POSITION TITLE**: Human Resources Coordinator
**DEPARTMENT**:Human Resources
**UNION**: Excluded
**TYPE**:Full-time, 1.0 FTE, 40 Weekly Hours Temporary until September 6, 2023, or until return of incumbent with possibility of extension
**SCHEDULE**: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm, A combination of work from home and from head office
**START DATE**: As soon as possible

We are developing an HR Strategic Plan to guide the coming years. We are also building the team in the size and expertise, most recently we have added a Workforce Analyst.

The Human Resources Coordinator provides day to day confidential administrative support to RainCity Housing’s Human Resources department. Reporting to the Director, Human Resources & Labour Relations, the position manages correspondence, performs administrative tasks and functions, and coordinates the work of the Human Resources team.

This generalist role performs a variety of administrative tasks to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency, while working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment. As a key point of contact for communication, the Human Resources Coordinator requires the ability to handle sensitive matters with tact, confidentiality and good judgement.

**POSITION QUALIFICATIONS**
- Diploma or certificate in Human Resource Administration
- A minimum of 1 year of related experience
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office and its suite of products
- Strong word-processing abilities
- Non-profit experience is preferred
- Governance experience would be ideal
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered
- Ability to understand, communicate and support the mission and values of RainCity Housing, and the models/methods of supporting clients including the principles of Housing First and Harm Reduction

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
