**Who we are looking for**:
This role demands a professional adept at building relationships and gaining trust quickly, especially with farmers and small-town communities. A desire to work in the countryside and a commitment to daily travel are essential.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to expand our presence in rural Alberta
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, particularly farmers and small-town residents
- Conduct daily travel throughout rural areas to meet with potential and existing clients
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the region
- Represent Solis Innovations / Solis Energy at local events and industry gatherings
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop tailored solutions for clients
- Track and report on sales activities, opportunities, and results
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in sales, specifically within the rural Alberta market
- Proven track record of success in selling products or services to rural communities
- Strong understanding of the agricultural industry and rural market dynamics
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build trust and rapport quickly with clients
- High degree of confidence and a warm, approachable personality
- Willingness to travel daily and work in rural settings
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
