**About**:
As part of the Validation team, you will be reporting to the Senior Manager, National Validation and you will protect the company's interests and quality of our portfolio while contributing to the most secure and efficient customer journey and our commercial excellence through continuous improvement. The Team leader - Specialized contracts validation is responsible for ensuring an optimal flow of work for the validation of more complex transactions, while supporting department members in their day-to-day issues and ongoing training needs.

**Responsabilities**:

- Perform final validation of more complex financing contracts and syndication transactions to ensure compliance with provincial legal standards and internal company policies;
- Act as a resource person for the team in their day-to-day issues effectively;
- Oversee workflows, shared mailboxes and funding deadlines to ensure a smooth operation that meets our service level agreements;
- Identify training needs within the team or across departments and participate in training initiatives;
- Represent the department when required on meetings and/or projects outside the department;
- Generate monthly reports to support departmental KPIs;
- Collaborate with team managers to identify avenues for continuous improvement, contributing to streamline processes, reduce timelines, and enhance customer experience;
- Collaborate with other team members to update departmental procedures;
- Perform any additional tasks to support of department managers, as needed.

**The profile we are looking for**:

- At least 5 years of experience in financing and/or leasing
- Management experience (asset)
- Bilingual; both orally and in writing, to be able to serve our teams located across Canada
- Strong decision making and judgment abilities.
- Adaptability
- Leadership skills
- Comfortable with systems (Vision, Excel, PowerBI, PPSA)
