Autocad Technician-stone Templater

Established in 2007, QuartzCo is a leader in the Ontario stone installation and fabrication industry. With a continued focus on service and customer relationships, QuartzCo is growing rapidly and looking for team members who will help to support and grow our brand in the Ontario market.

We are currently in need of a CAD technician to work out of our location in the Welland area. You will be working in the office taking measurements and pictures done on site and turning into CAD drawings that are then used by our fabrication department to cut and polish stone.

Daily responsibilities include converting pictures and measurements done on site into a CAD drawing that can be used to fabricate finished products. You will be required to regularly communicate with customers, work with internal and external partners to generate accurate drawings in a timely manner.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Draw from blueprints if onsite measurements are not done.
- Convert measurements and pictures into a CAD drawing which will be submitted for fabrication.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience with AutoCAD
- Ability to actively communicate with internal and external partners
- Ability to work in a team environment is critical
- G license is a requirement

**Salary**: $23.00-$28.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- AutoCAD: 1 year (required)
- drafting: 1 year (preferred)
