**Responsibilities**:
The Work Integrated Learning Coordinator will support the delivery of internship and co-op programs and hiring of Western students through Western Connect (connect.uwo.ca). The Coordinator will act as the central and primary support for multiple faculties in the creation and management of work integrated learning (WIL) opportunities for Western students. They will support the development and maintenance of relationships with stakeholders, including providing timely and knowledgeable support to employers. The Coordinator is a member of the Experiential Learning unit within the Careers & Experience department, and will contribute to the goal of providing increased access to experiential learning opportunities for all students at Western.

**Qualifications**:

- Education:
- University degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field
- Experience:
- 2 years of experience working in higher education, in an experiential learning or industry/community engagement role, including supervising and working with volunteers and students
- Experience in program development and management
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of best practices and processes to support WIL opportunities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to translate information into easily understood terms, summarize information, and provide a rationale for action
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage activities for both self and others effectively
- Well-developed presentation and public-speaking skills
- Strong commitment to customer service, including needs assessment, evaluation and continuous improvement
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adhere to timelines
- Proven ability and natural inclination to develop relationships by interacting with people in a professional, respectful and diplomatic manner
- Creative problem-solving skills and sound professional judgement, especially regarding confidential/sensitive matters
- Ability to work in a manner that is compliant with confidentiality requirements
- Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite
