DESCRIPTION

The **HR Specialist **is a critical role within OHD, by leading the day-to-day HR functions for a diverse and busy company. This role includes management of policies, procedures, performance, and team support. With a lens of balance between employee and business needs, the HR Specialists consider all aspects of provincial regulations and company culture to drive their process.

This part-time role works closely with all OHD divisions and employees while reporting directly to the company President. 20 hours a week, flexible schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS

This role requires a high level of emotional intelligence, adaptability and a positive “can-do” attitude, as well as:

- Degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in progressive HR Roles.
- Exceptional problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to perform tasks with calm judgement, confidentiality, and discretion.
- Computer proficiency required.

NICE TO HAVES
- CPHR designation is an asset.
- Previous experience in the construction industry.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $34.00-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
