**The opportunity**:
The Faculty of Arts is seeking an HR Coordinator to support recruitment and selection of support staff and student roles. This position involves overseeing collective agreement administration, recruitment and selection processes, and providing HRIS guidance and training.

**The qualifications and experience we’re looking for**:

- An undergraduate degree preferably in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related discipline is required.
- A CPHR designation or working towards a CPHR, is considered an asset.
- One year of directly related human resources experience is required.
- Behaviour based recruitment and selection experience is required, preferable in a unionized environment.
- Experience with HRIS and the development and maintenance of reports is required.
- An acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Strong interpersonal skills are required.
- Strong decision-making skills with the ability to make recommendations and provide advice is required.
- Proven ability to take initiative is required.
- High level of attention to detail is required.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality is required.
- Strong analysis and analytical skills is required.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes quickly is required.
- Ability to plan and organize multiple priorities and manage time effectively is required.
- Excellent computer skills and ability to use features in MS Office is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Satisfactory work record, including satisfactory attendance and punctuality, is required.
