GFL is looking to hire a Bilingual Recruiter to join our team based out of Napanee/Ottawa The Recruiter is responsible for full life cycle recruiting including reviewing, screening, and recommending placement of staff by using creative sourcing methods (internal and external) for their designated region and line of business. In this role you will gain exposure to Field Recruitment, supporting scaling front line business operations throughout your region, while also supporting various HR and Talent projects on occasion. **Key Responsibilities**:
- Gérer le cycle complet de recrutement en partenariat avec la direction des opérations sur le terrain afin de déterminer les besoins en personnel dans un territoire donné
- Mener des entrevues téléphoniques préliminaires pour évaluer la compatibilité des talents avec les équipes
- Coordonner les évaluations et les références appropriées
- Faire des recommandations sur les décisions d'embauche
- Fournir des lettres d'offre pour tous les postes et expliquer les informations importantes contenues dans l'offre (par exemple, les avantages, la rémunération, les clauses de non-concurrence)
- Contribuer à la réalisation d'examens de pré-embauche pertinents pour les employés potentiels
- Créer et développer des stratégies de recrutement selon les besoins
- Gérer les programmes de partenariat avec les collèges et les universités
- Collaborer avec les RH pour faciliter le processus de transfert interne des employés
- Développer et maintenir d'excellentes relations avec les intervenants internes et externes afin d'assurer l'atteinte des objectifs de dotation
- Travailler avec les responsables du recrutement pour assurer la conformité avec toutes les lois et réglementations applicables en matière d'emploi dans votre région
- Manage full cycle recruiting by partnering with field operations leadership to determine staffing needs within an assigned territory
- Review and qualify applicant resume in accordance to hiring manager's needs
- Conduct preliminary phone interviews to assess talent fit for teams
- Coordinate appropriate assessments and references
- Make recommendations on hiring decisions
- Deliver offer letters for all positions, and explain important information within the offer (e.g., benefits, compensation, non-compete clauses)
- Support in conducting relevant pre-employment screenings on prospective employees
- Create and develop sourcing strategies as needed
- Manage college and university partnership programs
- Partner with HR to assist with internal employee transfer process
- Develop and maintain an excellent relationship with internal and external stakeholders to ensure achievement of staffing goals
- Work with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations within your region
**Requirements**:
- Bilingue en français et en anglais requis
- Diplôme universitaire de 4 ans (B.A.) de préférence.
- 1-3 ans d'expérience dans le recrutement de cycle complet, avec une forte expérience transférable dans les industries opérationnelles de préférence.
- Certains déplacements sont nécessaires
- Expérience de Workday souhaitée
- Permis de conduire valide de préférence
- Solides connaissances en informatique, y compris une bonne maîtrise de Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint et Outlook
- Bilingual in French and English required
- 4-year College Degree (B.A.) preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in full cycle recruiting, with strong transferable experience across operational industries preferred
- Some travel required
- Workday Experience preferred
- Valid Driver's License preferred
- Strong computer literacy, including effective working skills of Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
