**ABOUT THE ROLE**

**RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE**:

- Delivering the approved curriculum for the course being taught, ensuring the teaching is according to the curriculum approved by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities
- Adhere to the provided class schedule, ensuring that each required module duration is not exceeded
- Monitor each student’s attendance and progress **Develop curriculum supplements as required to enhance learning and retention, while ensuring that Ministry-approved material is followed closely**:

- Prepare teaching plan and teaching materials
- Deliver teaching to students
- Supervise student hand-on class activities
- Provide tutorials to students
- Mark student’s assignments, tests, exams and/or network projects
- Provide job search support to students
- Other duties as assigned

**REQUIRED SKILLS**:

- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Evidence of ongoing professional development and current knowledge of industry developments and best practice
- Professional demeanor
- Willingness to work cooperatively with students and other members of staff
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

ESSENTIAL - Strong knowledge of experience in CISCO

Must be CISCO Certified

Able to teach CCNA and the new CCNP (ENCOR and ENARSI)
- Strong knowledge and background in Microsoft Office (i.e Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook etc.)
- You are approachable, disciplined, organized, details-oriented and result-driven

**QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Relevant degree/diploma in computer science/networking
- You have at least 4 years of hands-on working experience in a computer network environment. **Adult education certificate is an asset**

**Working Conditions**

Position Location: 5734 Yonge Street, Suite 100 Toronto, ON M2M 4E7
- Hours of work: Morning shift (9:00 am - 1:00 pm), Afternoon shift (1:00 pm - 5:00 pm), and Evening Shift (6 pm - 10:00 pm)
- Schedule of work: Monday to Friday (20-40 hrs. a week)
