- Responsible for the day to day operations of all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Prepare and maintain monthly / yearly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Process incoming payments by cheque, credit card, and EFT.
- Send invoices to clients monthly.
- Prepare and make bank deposits.
- Credit card reconciliation.
- HST/GST remittance & corporate tax installments
- Conduct bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of recorded transactions.
- Process employee expenses.
- Administration of employee Group Health & Dental program.
- Administration of company Deferred Profit Sharing program.
- Inventory control.
- Manage relationships with tax advisors and other financial service providers.

Qualifications:

- Post secondary education in accounting or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting
- Experience with QuickBooks online.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with all employees across all departments.
- Self motivated and ability to work independently with little direction.
- Strong computer skills including QuickBooks and MS Office Suite.
