**Here’s what you’ll be responsible for in this role**.

This position will have good visibility to our business across many product lines and customer channels. In this role you will, develop and support the CertainTeed Canada business in 3 main areas, 1. Canadian manufacturing facilities, supporting the creation and implementation of standardized reporting processes. 2. Support Canada wide monthly reporting both, data collection & analysis and Reporting of monthly SG Magnitude filings. 3. Support Commercial reporting and analysis on key projects. The position will provide guidance on expenses, general accounting matters.
- Support Canadian Manufacturing sites, creating standardized reports, and variance analysis. Supporting both Business Controllers and Plant Controllers
- Support Commercial Sales reporting working with Manager of Financial Analyst
- commercial
- Internal control documentation and reporting
- Involvement in the preparation of the Annual budget and Quarterly forecasts

Month-end closing:

- Monthly reporting of Financial Statements using SAP to Magnitude supporting SR reporting Analyst
- Production Review and Reconciliation
- Monthly Management reporting “preparation of power point packages to be used for monthly business reviews)
- Monthly closing duties, journal entries, data analysis and coding of invoices through IOL
- Benchmarking (TPI all plants (BP & FP), CSI all plants, Prod. Summary, Mte labour rate, DL rate, K2 templates
- Year on year Cost reporting and analysis
- Cost Complaints reporting - Supporting Manager Quality Assurance

Other duties such as:

- Resource for IT (implementations and testing)
- GXO, IN4, SAP, QLIK etc.
- PWC requests / Adhoc requests

**Required Qualifications**:
**Here is what’s important to have to apply**:

- Excellent understanding of financial consolidation and reporting systems ex.(Magnitude)
- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA, CMA or MBA preferable or equivalent, complementary work experience
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience on financial reporting under IFRS
- Strong analytical skills are required to quickly grasp issues impacting the financial results
- Strong systems aptitude to deliver effective reporting (paperless web-enabled environment), ERP’s, MS Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentations
- Good communication and presentation skills are required
- Ability to manage projects, work independently, and communicate effectively to all areas and levels of the location
- SAP experience preferred.
