Le Centre de Santé Tulattavik de l’Ungava (CSTU) offre des services de sages-femmes ainsi que du support professionnel aux infirmières des sept communautés de la Baie d’Ungava. La majorité de notre clientèle est Inuit et la majorité des femmes vont accoucher a Kuujjuaq avec l’équipe de sages-femmes. L’équipe est constituée de l’équivalent de 4SF à temps complet avec une riche expérience des soins de maternité en région éloignée. Nous travaillons en interdisciplinarité avec une équipe d’infirmières, de médecins et de travailleurs sociaux afin d’offrir des soins aux femmes qui vivent une grossesse à bas risques ainsi qu’à risques intermédiaires. Nous faisons partie de l’équipe d’évacuations d’urgences lors d’accouchements prématurés ou tout autre urgence obstétricale ou néonatale.

Sommaire des fonctions:
Sous la direction des Services Communautaires, la postulante devra assurer le suivi des grossesses, des accouchements et des soins post-partum pour la mère et l’enfant conjointement avec les sages-femmes et étudiantes locales. Elle sera appelée à superviser les étudiantes Inuit sage-femme et à leur fournir un enseignement selon Le Guide de formation adapté aux étudiantes Inuit du Centre de Santé Tulattavik de l’Ungava. **Exigences **:Être membre de l’Ordre des Sages-Femmes du Québec (O.S.F.Q.);
Certification en Urgences Obstétricales à jour (ESW, ALSO, ALARM ou MORE);
Certification en Réanimation Néonatale Avancée, incluant l’intubation;
Excellente maîtrise de la langue anglaise et française orale et écrite, l’Inuktitut serait un atout;
Sens des responsabilités, autonomie, maturité et assiduité;
L’ouverture d’esprit, l’aptitude à enseigner en interculturel et la capacité d’écoute sont essentiels;
Capacité d’adaptation à un milieu de travail différent et une expérience de travail en région nordique et/ou dans un autre milieu culturel;
Facilité et efficacité à travailler en équipe interdisciplinaire et interculturelle;
Être disponible à voyager dans les communautés de la Baie d’Ungava;
Être disponible pour être de garde.

SALAIRE : Min. $1146.23 Max. $1945.18 /semaine
PRIME D’ÉLOIGNEMENT : $203.66 /semaine
PRIME DE VIE CHÈRE : $61.16 /semaine
PRIME DE RÉTENTION : $383.29 /semaine

Toute personne salariée recrutée au Québec à plus de cinquante (50) kilomètres de la localité où elle est appelée à exercer ses fonctions aura droit au logement.
