The Accounting Assistant - Income Analyst is a motivated, analytical, and customer oriented individual who will provide accounting and administrative support to the Accounting and Administration Department.

This is a multi-functional position that will allow the individual to learn many aspects of the accounting and administrative functions at Knowledge Bureau.

**Accounting Functions**

**Daily**
- Prepares daily income reports and analysis:

- Monitoring and reporting of instalment delinquencies and bad debts; preparation of past due notice to students
- Safekeeping of financial records and ensure that confidential records are properly stored in accordance with compliance requirements
- Accepts, process and reconcile other payments received
- Deposit cash and cheques received

**Weekly**
- Assists in the preparation of management reports
- Makes collection letter and coordinate with Sales Department for client calls

**Monthly**
- Reconciliation of sales report, cash received, GST received, refunds, instalments, outstanding AR and refunds
- Monthly reporting and reconciliation of outstanding and past due instalment payments
- Monthly reporting of outstanding AR, outstanding AP for 24/7 and live events, promo for the month
- Preparation and reconciliation of e-transfer, credit card payments (USD and CAD); entry to accounting system
- Assists Accountant in preparation of monthly reports as required

**Quarterly, Semi Annual, and Annual**
- Process, record and reconciles hotel and other payments for live events
- Assists Accountant in preparation of quarterly and annual reports as required

**Administrative Functions**
- To assist the Accounting Manager in various functions such as:
i. Safekeeping and maintenance of Contracts, Legal, and Confidential Records

ii. Compliance to all levels of Government Agencies and Accreditors

**Other functions as required**

**Education, Experience and Skill Sets Required**:

- Degree or diploma in accounting or related education and experience in Accounting or Bookkeeping.
- Excellent grasp of MS Office suite (including Excel)
- Experience with Sage 50 Accounting Software and Salesforce considered an asset
- Keyboarding at least 60 wpm
- Strong work ethic, quick and highly productive
- Ability to adapt to new procedures, ability to take the initiative.
- Demonstrates integrity and reliability
- Respects individuals, the organization, and can work in teams as well as autonomously.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week

Schedule:
