**WHO WE ARE**:
We are a fully incorporated medium sized Design + Build company based in Vancouver British Columbia run by a dynamic wife + husband team. We work in high end homes and condos, reimagining spaces and creating custom builds and full-scale renovations for our clients.

We are looking for a scheduler to come on full time to support the business goals and objectives of both Schédio and our clients. As a scheduler you will work closely with our head of build and site manager to develop the overall schedule of project(s) completion. You will be responsible for building and updating schedules at various milestones, as project deliverables are completed, and as scopes of work are added to a project, and to provide updates to key team members on the progress of project completion.

**DUTIES**:

- Maintaining timelines in ClickUp, closing out/updating tasks
- Creating flexible 2 week out schedules that can be updated quickly if necessary
- Work closely with head of build, site manager manager, team leads, trades and other project services staff to provide detailed planning and timelines of each project from concept through to construction providing a look ahead at our workload (6 months and 1 year out)
- Develop schedules, including lists of activities, major milestones, critical approvals, long lead procurement items and other critical project deliverables to be scheduled and tracked for the projects
- Develop schedule logic and constraints, realistic activity durations, and available resources
- Assess the impact of design changes and schedule slippages. Inform company management and clients of all schedule updates
- Liaise with the design team and coordinate drawing due dates in advance
- Accumulate and access historical data for use in maintaining realistic future planning and forecasting
- Travel to projects sites as needed to participate in project meetings, develop schedules of project completion, and update schedules to identify work completed at the project sites
- Performs administrative tasks such as preparing progress reports and arranging meetings
- Planning for resources and working within budgetary restrictions, this will include manpower, materials, and equipment.
- Support site contract management and vendor inquiries
- Manage tool tracking and material ordering

**KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES**:

- 5+ years of on site construction experience (you understand the timelines of renovation projects like the back of your hand)
- 2+ years of direct scheduling experience required in critical path management with a demonstrated history of successful schedule compression and mitigation efforts
- You will be working 80% in an indoor office environment with regular visits to sites
- Excellent english written and verbal communication skills
- Strong design and construction skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Ability to effectively manage projects and cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail, with the ability to understand the big picture and to take initiative
- Outstanding problem-solving skills
- Strong working knowledge of construction contracts and construction practices.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to develop and maintain strong internal and external business relationships
- Read blueprints and drawings
- BC Driver’s License

**Salary**: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
