**Position Summary**:
Purchase raw materials from customer approved vendors, monitor purchase orders status, plan and bring in daily needed materials from our external 3PL warehouses to our plant. Work closely with customer and their external vendors to secure the raw materials supply.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Review materials demands and place PO within the specific timeline;
- Manage materials inventory, avoid shortage to production, and to achieve the best inventory turnover;
- Update certain level SAP MRP data (MRP 1 and MRP 2)
- Monitor open PO report daily, expedite and escalate inbound shipments with potential risk of delay;
- Review aging inventory weekly to avoid scrap and write off of ingredients;
- Monitor on hold raw materials status and takes actions to clean up hold memo in time;
- Support vendor’s logistics team and their carriers with any inbound shipment related issues;
- Coordinate RMA return;
- Act as a liaison between our US based vendors and our Canadian customs clearance broker;
- File MDR in customer’s portal to escalate supply risk and freight related risks;
- Monitor the materials demands in customer’s system and in HFS SAP system, capture errors that may affect production or cause excess inventory;
- Participate weekly planning meeting with supply planner and production scheduler
- Other tasks as assigned.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Minimum 2 years of consumer product industry’s materials planning/procurement/ logistics/inventory control experience;
- 1 to 2 years’ SAP experience
- University degree or college diploma in business administration/logistics/accounting;
- Proficient in MS Office with an emphasis on Excel
- Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally with, and balance the demands of both internal and external customers
- High level of organizational skills and detail orientation;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities;
- Customer Service orientation

- Work effectively with all levels of the organization and our customer;

**Work Environment & Physical Demands**:
**Salary range**: $60,000+ depending upon experience
