**Location**: Markham - Hybrid

As Vice President, Finance you will be primarily responsible for leading the company’s Canadian Financial Planning & Analysis function, which comprises of direct support to the Home and Commercial Services Business in Canada, as well as Corporate FP&A responsibilities that encompass the organization’s sister lines of business in the United States and Submetering.

Responsibilities pertaining to the direct FP&A support of the Canadian Home and Commercial Service business include leading the budgeting and strategic planning process for Enercare Canada, ownership of the long-term valuation model, management reporting (monthly and quarterly business reviews), and decision support (IRR, business case, ad-hoc analyses). The Vice President, Finance is a key business partner to the product and functional leaders of the organization.

Responsibilities pertaining to the Corporate FP&A function include liaising with our primary shareholder, Brookfield, and working with the US and submetering lines of business to consolidate and deliver monthly/quarterly forecast and management reporting requirements.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the FP&A function (a team of 14 individuals) and provide leadership across the finance function
- Provide client support to the various product and functional owners in the organization
- Lead the annual budgeting and strategic planning process for the organization
- Maintain the long-term valuation model in support of our strategic planning and financing initiatives
- Help drive the management system of the organization, including ownership of reporting to facilitate monthly business reviews at the executive level
- Key contributor for board-level materials on regularly recurring basis
- Provide decision support to the organization, including ownership of IRR models, analysis to support pricing and offers, capital investment planning, business cases to support new products/initiatives, and any ad-hoc analyses as they arise
- Key point of contact to Brookfield, our primary shareholder
- Lead or act as a trusted advisor for strategic initiatives, as required, including support for acquisitions and integrations

**Qualifications**:

- 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, with demonstrated experience in a leadership capacity
- Undergraduate degree in business, accounting or finance
- CPA designation required, MBA, CFA or equivalent considered a strong asset
- Familiarity with complex financial models and understanding of key valuation metrics e.g., IRR, NPV, multiples, etc.
- Working knowledge of IFRS and accounting principles
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate in a clear, concise manner at the Executive level
- A self-starter with strong attention to detail and a focus on meeting deadlines
- Ability to prioritize, critically analyze, solve and where appropriate, escalate issues
- Strong decision-making and analytical skills
