We have an exciting opportunity and are looking for an experienced Audit Manager. We are a highly effective, robust, and influential function with a strong internal and external reputation. To deliver this, we recruit outstanding people who see Internal Audit as a phenomenal training ground for Aviva's future business leaders.
You will work collaboratively in Internal Audit at Aviva as part of an increasingly diverse and inclusive global team. Together we blend technical ability - whether in generalist auditing or specialist fields such as IT, data analytics and financial management - with excellent communication, influencing and leadership skills. The result is clear, robust, independent, and reliable opinions on Aviva's risk management and governance adequacy.
We are looking to attract Audit professionals with the right experience and capability who can proactively engage with Senior Executives helping them deliver sophisticated initiatives in a safe risk and controlled manner. These Executives and their teams are based primarily in Markham but could be in any country in which Aviva group companies operate; we expect you to be engaging with them in these locations.
We are part of an integrated function under the Chief Audit Officer across Aviva's business units and regions (UK, Europe, North America, Asia Pacific, and Aviva Investors). We operate as a truly global function, with resource fluidity across the group being one of our most significant objectives allowing for more excellent development opportunities.

What you'll do:
- Leading reviews from end to end.- Managing and delivering high-quality Audit Assignments that improve the overall control environment and risk management- Supporting the head of Audit, engaging and influencing senior stakeholders- Drafting and presenting impactful reports to senior management.- Partner and relationship management at a senior management level within the business.- Supporting the production of reports to Internal Audit's key stakeholders and, through these, influencing management actions to deliver a more effective control framework.- Following and advising on the guidelines of the audit framework.- Working across the department to support the broader audit function's initiatives.
