Wedding Coordinator

**JOB BRIEF**
- Shotgun Wedding is seeking an Event Coordinator to organize and facilitate elopements and small weddings in Banff National Park and Canmore.
- You will be responsible for ongoing communication with engaged couples and being onsite during the wedding to assist the photographer, officiant, guests and the engaged couple.
- Attention to detail is paramount.
- You will be working directly with Shotgun Wedding clients, so you must be able to provide excellent service both online and in person. You will be working as part of a team at Shotgun Wedding, alongside the photographer, officiant, other coordinators and the creative director. Coordinating tasks, sharing responsibility and creating a fabulous experience together is integral to the role.
- A MacBook laptop, iPad and Apple iPhone will be provided, so knowledge of Apple products will be helpful. Social media skills will be necessary as you will be asked to post on our Instagram, Facebook, blog and TikTok as part of the role.
- The goal is to organize unforgettable events that ensure our couples have an unforgettable wedding experience in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. You will have a leadership role during the weddings, taking control of situations as they arise and problem-solving as issues come up.
- A company vehicle will be provided for work related driving
- Understand the requirements for each wedding/event

**TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Plan events with attention to detail and timelines
- Upload photographer images to a hard drive and Dropbox each evening after weddings
- Do final checks on the wedding day to ensure everything is ready for weddings
- Oversee event happenings and act quickly to resolve problems
- Assistant the photographer, officiant, guests and clients on the wedding days to ensure a great experience for everyone

**OTHER**
- This is a job for someone 18+
- The job will require you to work most weekends.
- The successful applicant must have a clean and valid driver's license
- The successful applicant must be able to walk up to 10km a day.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
