**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages with precision and care in a fast-paced environment.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere despite the pace.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring satisfaction with each interaction even during busy periods.
- Provide recommendations on menu items and offer guidance on flavor profiles to enhance the customer experience, all while maintaining efficiency.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area, including equipment, serving stations, and seating areas, even during peak hours.
- Perform regular cleaning duties, including wiping down counters, tables, and chairs, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces swiftly.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the washroom facilities, including restocking supplies and maintaining a tidy appearance, while balancing the demands of the bustling environment.
- Clean windows and glass surfaces to maintain a sparkling and inviting ambiance without disrupting workflow.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system with accuracy and attention to detail, even amidst the hustle and bustle.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and contribute to a positive work environment, supporting one another in the face of the fast pace.
- Assist in preparing in-house sandwiches and other food items as needed.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a barista or in a customer-facing role preferred, especially in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor that shines even during busy periods.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment, maintaining quality amidst speed.
- Passion for coffee and a desire to learn about different brewing methods and flavor profiles, adaptable to the demands of a high-energy atmosphere.
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team, collaborating seamlessly with colleagues in a fast-paced setting.
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, embracing the dynamic nature of the cafe environment.
- Food Safe certificate required within 7 days after hiring.
