We are currently hiring a **Assistant Sales Manager** for our **Fergus** Location (Robinson Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM Ltd.).
**Assistant Sales Manager Duties and Responsibilities**
- Ordering vehicles as per the requirements of the dealership.
- Inform the sales team about the vehicles coming in.
- Stocking in the vehicles when they arrive.
- Assist General Sales manager.
- Monitor the New Vehicle showroom to ensure customers are greeted properly and in a timely manner
- Ensure showroom vehicles are clean and have proper window display pricing
- Monitor outside lot to ensure vehicles are in order and properly displayed on a daily basis
- Achieve individual and designated team sales targets and assist in the retailer achieving the overall target
- Sell and deliver vehicles through strict adherence to the dealership’s sales process
- Daily monitoring of lot staff, assigning daily duties
- Meet or CSI targets as applicable.
- Purchase and sell pre-Owned vehicles
- Set sales goals, track progress, and lead team to achieve targets.
- Step in to answer customer questions and issues when required
- Develop and manage a CRM platform to retain customers and seek out new prospective sales
- Maintain a strong focus on satisfaction of all customers
- Assist in marketing activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Requirements**:
- Experience in the automotive industry.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a sales role at a dealership
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Proven organizational skills and the ability to motivate and guide teams to deliver exceptional quality.
- Valid Ontario G Driver’s License.
- Clear Driver’s Abstract.
- Valid OMVIC License.
- Solid sales competencies with knowledge of strategies and best practices
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Outgoing and service-oriented attitude
- Knowledge of inventory control and management
- Willingness to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends
