Labourer - Electronics Recyling & Dismantling

Edmonton, Canada Hi-Tech Recyclers Full time

**Schedule is 5 x 8 hour shifts a week. Monday-Friday, from 7:30am to 4:00pm. Some half day shifts on weekends as required.**

**Previous forklift and/or warehouse experience is an asset.**

Your role as an Electronics Dismantler will involve physically taking apart electronics with both hand tools and power tools, sorting parts and materials, as well as working with our team to prepare material for shipping.

At Hi-Tech Recyclers we recycle a vast array of devices including: Computers, Laptops, Cell Phones, CRT Televisions, Flat Screen Televisions, Stand Up Printers, Small Appliances and much more.
- There are occasional Saturday Shifts (Paid overtime)
- Manually taking apart used electronic equipment, printers, TVs, etc.
- Assist with loading and unloading of truck for pickups and deliveries.
- Follow all company policies and safe work practices, ensure proper PPE.
- All necessary PPE is provided _except Steel Toed Boots_, these must be provided by employees
- Complete daily inspections as required.
- Standing for long periods throughout the day.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be reliable, a team player and ready to learn. We have an awesome team, we work hard but we also have a lot of fun. Everyone gets along great and we share many common interests and hobbies.

**CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK IS REQUIRED AND WILL BE DONE BY THE COMPANY FOR ANY PROSPECTIVE EMPLOYEES**

Pay: $18.00 per hour
