**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk operations efficiently.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using Dentrix.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure patient information is up to date.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, insurance, and appointment availability.
- Process patient check-ins and check-outs, including handling payments and insurance claims.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow and high-quality care.
- Understand and utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar front desk role within a dental or medical office is preferred.
- Proficiency in using dental software systems (Dentrix, RecallMax) and electronic medical records is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly demeanor towards patients.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry is an asset.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.
