**Company Description**
Nicoya Health Support is a caregiving service provider company. We provide staff to hospitals, long term care facilities and at home residents. The pandemic has caused a great need for such services. Despite this growth in demand we strive to maintain a high standard of care for our clients. We ensure complete client satisfaction by having all of our staff trained, certified and vetted.
We are looking for an experienced cook in the hamilton area who can service one of our clients in a full time position.
**Responsibilities**:
- Follow established procedures and standards
- prepare food for residents, including the more complex meal preparation for the facility
- Clean production area and equipment
- Provides for prescribed diets, including variation in textures.
**Requirements**:
- 4 years experience as a cook
- Chef training or culinary management certifacte or diploma that meets requirements of the OLTCH Act
- Certificate of qualification as a cook issued by an authority meeting the requirements of the OLTCH Act.
**Nice To Haves**
- Red Seal certification
- Experience cooking in facilities that requires large quantity cooking,
- Proven ability to provide direction and lead others within a busy environment.
- Post-secondary diploma in food and nutrition or a post-secondary degree in food and nutrition.
**Salary**: $25.00 per hour
