ODI has a suite of active projects using robotics and advanced software including perception and machine learning to achieve manufacturing tasks with robotics that are currently only possible with highly skilled labor. We are currently looking for a talented and passionate individual to join our growing organization. As part of an Agile team you will be working closely with the scrum team to utilize your knowledge of software testing and test automation in a fast-paced environment where you will be part of a team responsible for testing a wide variety of technologies.

The team is firing on all pistons developing software and hardware solutions using some of the latest technologies. The multidisciplinary team is comprised of a combination of experienced engineers in the fields of mechanical, mechatronics, electrical, and software who are in constant collaboration towards a common goal. A factory and machine shop are within the same building in which to develop and test solutions.

The team is growing and is currently in need of talented Quality Assurance Analyst who is passionate about problem solving, advanced software, robotics, machine vision, and machine learning, and above all else, quality. You will be expected to work directly with the robots and automated equipment and learning on the job is a must.

Required Experience
- Minimum 3 Years working in a software test environment
- Strong knowledge of QA processes and procedures
- Test Case and Test Suite Planning and execution
- Extensive experience in Test Management tools (eg. QMetry)
- Executing test for system, integration, component, simulation, and performance
- Must be able to program tests in Windows and Linux environments
- Build test automation frameworks (Strong knowledge of QA tools like Selenium, Cucumber/Specflow)
- Minimum 1 year experience
- Source control
- Agile software development experience using Jira
- Software tools experience in Git/Bitbucket
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Bonus Points
- Robotics experience - Work, academic, or hobby
- Experience with Unix scripting languages
- Hands on experience with software/hardware mixed products, which may utilize motor controls, machine controls, and various sensory components in combination with software

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop test plan, strategy, test specifications, test configuration, test reports for various tests such as integration testing, system testing, regression testing, data migration, end-to-end and sanity testing
- Testing software in Robotics vision systems and Manufacturing Automation systems to support our worldwide network of Automation systems in multiple languages
- Collaborate with Product Owners and various Engineering teams to establish test plans and requirements, project plans and sizing
- Ensure features achieve the desired level of functional flow and quality
- Develop, execute, and document test plans that ensure software implementation meets with project requirements
- Support production teams with troubleshooting issues and creating solutions
- Establish a strong feedback loop with developers
- Support CI/CD, internal tools, and infrastructure
- Work with development teams to implement and maintain automated test suites
for all products
- Collect and process data from sensors and make decisions based on the input
- Testing the software in simulation and then on real hardware
- Participate in technical requirement and design reviews across multiple Engineering disciplines
