Join our team as a full time **Policy and Projects Specialist** working Monday to Friday out of our beautiful Delta location. The position offers a
competitive salary based on experience ($70,000-$80,000), extended health benefits, 4 weeks vacation, professional development
already registered in the plan)

**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**:
The mandate of the Policy and Projects Specialist is to develop, establish, evaluate, and maintain continuous quality improvement initiatives
that enhance the Society’s commitment to best practices and ensure the Society meets all legal, regulatory, and privacy requirements. Secondly,
the Policy and Projects Specialist will oversee the administration of Kyndred Society’s business improvement activities and accreditation
standards including completing accreditation planning activities, gathering documentation and acting as the on-site lead during audits, ensuring
smooth interactions with auditors and facilitating successful site visits. Conducts regular audits and assessments to identify compliance risks
and recommend corrective actions.
In addition, the Policy and Projects Specialist will plan, budget, monitor and report on the final year of a youth employment research project
using a variety of tools amongst a variety of stakeholders. Oversite of the project will include communications, planning, budgeting, monitoring
and reporting, coordination of meetings, and reporting on the progress of the project with the researcher, project consultant, the finance
department, Ministry representatives, and all partner representatives.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- A Bachelor’s degree, or post graduate diploma in Quality Assurance, or related field, is preferred;
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Quality Assurance, Continuous Improvement, Accreditation or equivalent;
- Previous experience with document control, process control, process development, quality control or business process management
- (BPM), is highly beneficial;
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, at all levels of the organization including presentation and writing
- skills;
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office suite with a focus on MS Excel;
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities;
- Familiarity with Request for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs), and other solicitation documents considered an asset;
- Knowledge of CARF Accreditation Standards considered an asset.
