Flowertown Cannabis is opening our first location in Mississauga, Ontario and we are looking for a Store Manager to join our team.

The Store Manager will assist in the hiring and training of staff, the launch of the store, and day-to-day operations. We are looking for someone as passionate as we are about providing professional and responsible cannabis retail service in a growing market.

**THE ROLE**
- Oversee the operations of the Flowertown Cannabis retail location at 2425 Truscott Dr, Mississauga, Ontario
- Hire, train, and develop staff in accordance with operating policies, procedures and best practices
- Build a strong culture that motivates team members to deliver extraordinary customer service and education to our customers
- Coach team members and provide constructive feedback to foster their development in line with their career aspirations
- Work closely with the executive team to establish processes that maximize results
- Create and execute initiatives to increase customer acquisition, loyalty and community support with the assistance of the executive team
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure the store runs smoothly
- Conduct weekly inventory and ensure compliance with reporting regulations
- Create work schedules that optimize staffing to ensure KPIs are met
- Working closely with the corporate team to review sales reports and identify sale trends, inventory strategies/reorders and operation strategies.
- Ensure POS transaction and end of day cash reconciliation is accurate and follow-up on any discrepancies
- Handling of cannabis delivery and cash in a manner that follows corporate, provincial and federal policies
- Assist with audits and AGCO/OCS requirements
- Manage labour, operating hours and standard operating procedures
- Adhere to and enforce loss prevention and security policies, credit policies and procedures (i.e. credit cards, discounts, employee purchases, deposit logs, return and exchange policies)
- Create and nurture valuable relationships with the community
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, company information, new launches, campaigns and promotions
- Other duties as assigned by executive team

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- 5+ years of experience in retail required
- 3+ years as a manager of a high-volume retail or food service operation
- CanSell and Retail Store Manager License is an asset
- Availability to work on weekends, some holidays and evenings
- Strong commitment to customer service
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - must be a team player
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience with inventory systems and financial reporting including P&L’s
- In depth knowledge/expertise of the cannabis industry is an asset
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in and adapt to a highly regulated industry

**Salary**: From $45,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mississauga, ON L5J 2B4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Retail management: 3 years (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (preferred)
- Night Shift (preferred)

Work Location: In person
