Tow Operator: Light Duty Wrecker Operators

Red Deer, Canada City Wide Towing Full time

Job Description**Responsibilities**:
Demonstrating safety leadership and safe work practices at all times

Working in accordance with City Wide Towing policies and procedures

Providing exceptional customer service & client experiences

Additional landscape maintenance tasks as required

Basic/Required Qualifications

Thorough knowledge of the city, excellent memory and organizational skills

Valid Driver’s License (class 5, 3 or 1 with air ) Minimum Class 5 with air is required

Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions

Ability to maintain simple records and make verbal reports

Strong adherence to City Wide Towing safety policies and protocol

Must provide a clean driver abstract and be able to pass a background check, drug and alcohol test and fit to work test

Legally authorized to work in Canada

Preferred Qualifications

Previous towing experience is an asset

Ability to take direction, learn and work independently as well as part of a team

Motivated and energetic team player with an attention to detail and great work ethic

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

Ability to perform moderate to heavy intensive tasks for extended periods of time

Working in a variety of outdoor environments with the ability to withstand cold and hot temperatures

Physically demanding position

Significant standing, climbing, stooping, kneeling

Repetitive motions

Ability to regularly lift, carry, push and pull weights of up to 100 lbs
