We complete our repairs and maintenance in-house and are looking for someone who is handy and likes to be on the tools to join us as a **Commercial Maintenance Technician.**

We offer move-in ready and customized space and need a Commercial Maintenance Technician to assist with general construction, renovations, and upgrades. Playing a critical role on the team, the Commercial Maintenance Technician also completes general repairs, ongoing maintenance, and upkeep of interior and exterior spaces.

**RESPONSIBILITES**
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs
- Perform renovations such as drywall and tile repairs, taping, painting, carpentry, replacement of door locks, and demolition
- Operate heavy equipment including forklift and telehandler
- Carry out outdoor facilities repairs and upgrades
- Maintain shop and vehicles
- Transport ordered materials and supplies and maintain inventory of items in stock
- Assist with preventative maintenance
- Participate in on-call rotation schedule (evenings and weekend)
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment

**REQUIREMENTS**
- 3-5 years of experience in building maintenance and construction
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to multitask
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Valid G driver’s license and driver’s abstract check
- Computer and smartphone proficiency
- Punctual, detail-oriented, and courteous manners with the public
- Forklift certification an asset
