**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the incumbent will provide support to the programs, students, Faculty, Lab School Managers, Accessible Learning Consultants, Learning Strategists/Consultants, and Student Success Specialists. The position will provide staff and students with direction and assistance relating to general questions and concerns.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provides information to potential students on entrance requirements, divisional select and admissions processes.
- Provides student advisement on policy and procedural issues such as academic standings, program status, registration, police checks, etc. A thorough knowledge of College Policies and Procedures is required.
- Oversees BANNER/MILLENIUM and related student record matters including grade entry, add/drops, exemptions. Responsible for MILLENNIUM grade entry when faculty cannot enter on time.
- Attend on-going training relating to BANNER, MILLENNIUM, CAPP, Academic Interface (AI) and relevant college policies and procedures.
- Provides relevant assistance with progression/graduation processes including printing of grade reports, recording of status, and forwarding relevant documentation to Registration office.
- Provides administrative support to the Faculty, Lab School Managers, Accessible Learning Consultants, Learning Strategists/Consultants, and Student Success Specialists in the School of Early Childhood, including scheduling of appointments, booking and scheduling tests, communications, and statistical reports.
- Provides support to Director’s office including assisting with events and operational activities.
- Other related duties as assigned.

**Educational and Experience Requirements**:

- Three-year post-secondary education program or equivalency.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience working in a busy office environment.
- Experience in the educational sector preferred.

**Skills and Attributes**:

- Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to establish priorities and make decisions within prescribed boundaries.
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service and organizational skills.
- Discretion, sound judgement and a commitment to preserving strict confidentiality.
- Ability to lift between 20 kg or 44 lbs (i.e., lifting boxes, assisting with table and chair set up, archiving, etc.).
- Demonstrated communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills at a professional level.
- Demonstrated commitment to uphold the College’s priorities on diversity and equity.

**Interview process may consist of a practical skills component.**

**Notes**:

- The College requires proof of degrees, credentials or equivalencies from accredited regional or federal post-secondary institutions and/or their international equivalents. Credentials may require validation at the time of interviews or offer.
- First consideration will be provided to regular part time (RPT) support staff in accordance with the part time Support Staff Collective Agreement.
