Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Warehouse Manager to join our Edmonton LRT team.
**What You'll Be Doing**:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including: Incoming Shipments, Outgoing Shipments, inventory tracking, material handling, order preparation and delivery
- Prepare, update, and enhance Material Tracker and communicate updates to project team, using MS Office Suite (i.e. excel, outlook, word, etc.)
- Physically receive goods, confirm quantities, condition, conformance to packing lists and receive into the Material Tracking System
- Update Material Tracker accordingly for inventory differences regarding incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Performing quarterly inventory counts to reconcile Material Tracker.
- Retrieve, handle and prepare orders for on-site staff or shipments
- Count stock, sort, wrap, weigh and all other related functions;
- Pick and pack goods in trucks, using forklift;
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, work areas clean
- Abide by all company safety and quality regulations
- May recommend in-house software or influence decision in choosing and comparing software to track stock Any other duties as assigned by your manager to reasonably complete job
**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:
- Previous supervisory experience in a warehouse setting (5 years minimum);
- Ability to work under pressure
- Initiative and resourcefulness
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
- Ability to lift or move heavy products (up to 50lbs.)
- Team player with organizational skills. Able to balance competing time-sensitive tasks with poise and professionalism.
- High School diploma or GED
- Relevant trade certification an asset
- Strong knowledge of local market for sourcing and pricing product
