**Marketing Coordinator**
CreativeHub 1352 is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support the ongoing marketing and promotion of community-based programs, events, and activities.
CreativeHub 1352, previously Small Arms Society, is a non-profit, charitable, community-driven organization which exists for the advancement of Mississauga’s community cultural development through the arts, heritage, and environmental sciences. Working with community partners, CreativeHub 1352 fosters year-round creative multidisciplinary programming for the benefit of the Mississauga community. Through collaboration with the City of Mississauga, we are a key stakeholder in the reuse and programming of the Small Arms Inspection Building (“SAIB”) as a creative hub.
**Role of Marketing Coordinator**
Working under the direction of the Executive Director, CreativeHub 1352 Board of Directors, Marketing Committees, and volunteers, the Marketing Coordinator will play an active role in the ongoing development of CreativeHub 1352’s marketing and communications strategies. The Marketing Coordinator will support the promotion and marketing of community-based programs, events, and projects across the arts, heritage, environment, and related creative initiatives.
- Assist in the strategic development and implementation of marketing plans for an ongoing calendar of public events and programs to improve community and audience engagement, with guidance from Marketing Committees, the Executive Director, and Director of Marketing & Communications;
- Produce marketing content at community-based events and programs, including: Lakeview Farmers’ & Artisan Market, Summer Arts Mississauga programs, Lakeshore Art Trail, Community Clean Up Days, Arts, Heritage, and Environmental Programs and Workshops, and more;
- Manage timelines to ensure marketing deliverables are on time;
- Assist staff in maintaining electronic contact lists for communications, organizing newsletters, tracking responses and engagement;
- Create content for CreativeHub 1352 social media and web platforms, engaging with online audiences, answering inquiries;
- Generate content and copy for the CreativeHub 1352 newsletter;
- Assist staff in the collection of post-event reporting, including compiling audience research data and feedback on event and programs;
- Assist with outreach to local stakeholders, including community groups, influencers, media organizations, and others, to promote CreativeHub 1352 events and programs;
- Support Event Managers with the tracking of marketing and communications budgets and accounting needs;
- Other marketing and communications duties as required.
**Qualifications**
- Experience and skills including organizational, interpersonal, communication, and information technology (e.g., Word, Excel). An aptitude and willingness to learn other data management software.
- Combined experience and/or a willingness to gain experience in a non-profit organization, marketing and communications, and work in the cultural sector.
- High School or College Diploma in arts, administration, business, communications, community programming or related field preferred.

**End Date**:July 29, 2024
**Salary**:$19/hr
**Hours of Work**:35 hrs/week
The Government of Canada funded this job through the Canada Summer Jobs program.
- Be aged between 15 and 30 years old on the start date of the job;
- Have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN); and
- Be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada, or a person who has been granted refugee status in Canada.
International students and other temporary residents of Canada are not eligible.
