Reporting to the Equipment Manager, the Equipment Administrator will be an organized and detail-orientated individual who can work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines. The primary responsibilities will be to provide quality and timely administrative support services to the equipment maintenance facility in compliance with Canadian Road Builders Inc's accounting policies and procedures, as well as to promote and participate in the Goal Zero Safety Initiatives.- Main Responsibilities- Positively participate in company safety program and adhere to all safety requirements
- Support the various shop departments with administrative duties such as entering fuel/fluid logs, work orders, inventory reconciliations and packing slips.
- Match purchase orders to invoices, review and verify the coding, amount, and approval before entry
- Batch and prepare invoices for export.
- Perform vendor reconciliations as directed.
- Communication professionally with co-workers, supervisors, managers, vendors, and customers
- Occasional purchasing will be required
- Maintaining filing for equipment records
- Other duties as required
- What you bring to the position- Valid class five drivers license without restrictions
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years experience working in an administrative capacity
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Strong computer skills with the ability to adapt and learn new software
- Knowledge of JD Edwards will be an asset
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently.
- Able to process and enter high volume of data, working under pressure, meeting set deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Motivated, independent, and reliable
- Highly flexible with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
