Administration Supervisor

The **Administration Supervisor** at **SMS Equipment** is responsible for supervising the administrative team within the **Reman division**. The main focus of the position is to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of administration systems by proactively liaising with branch personnel and customers. The role requires coordinating administrative functions, ensuring adherence of team personnel to all policies and procedures, and maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited too**:

- Ensure employee workload is appropriately distributed, to maintain efficient services.
- Reassign any excess work, arrange spot replacements of critical service areas for break periods and direct changes in workflow.
- Monitor the quality of work performed by Admin Team and provide advice and counsel on methods and procedures.
- Ensure that employees receive instruction and training in team routines and systems.
- Ensure Payroll functions are performed consistently and within dedicated timelines.
- Ensure team members meet deadline expectations set forth by commitments and policies
- Review branch/customer quotations for accuracy and content.
- Address and rectify improvements and changes as mutually agreed between management and customer.
- Generates and assists in monitoring current Branch Work in Progress reports.

**Qualifications**:

- A journeyperson trade certification is considered an asset.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to positively influence team members.
- Detail orientated with a drive to achieve results.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software programs.
- Ability to identify problems and provide solutions.
