- Position Summary:
Facilitate, coordinate, enhance and promote the efficiency of the Animal Compliance Office by providing administrative support to its members. Responsible for site visit logistics. Coordinate financial tasks. Update and maintain contact lists. Organize meetings which includes room booking and catering. Order office supplies.
Primary Responsibilities:

- Plan and organize annual committee site visits of research laboratories and animal facilities where live animals are brought/kept under the McGill committee’s jurisdiction.
- Organize assessment visits by ACO staff of research laboratories and animal facilities.
- Develop procedures and related documentation. Implement procedures.
- Prepare reports, develop, maintain documentation related to the Animal Care Program.
- Organize, prepare, verify, and disseminate documents for meetings or communications with the animal care program community.
- Prepare agenda and take minutes.
- Provide backup for other team members and participate in projects.
- Coordinates, travel, conferences, or other events. Make room reservations, order catering and ensure required audio-visual equipment. Completes and manages the submission of expense reports.
- Manages office inventory.
- Conduct web-based research on behalf of the ACO team
- Enter training records or other data entry into the animal management system software.
- Manage the departmental website
- Other related duties as required.
