**Mission/Job Summary**:
TallGrass is seeking a Beauty Specialist & Educator for the Greater Toronto Area. This is a part time contract position which involves public presentations, online webinars and demo opportunities. This position will involve some travel time within the GTA.

A TallGrass beauty educator is a resource for TallGrass account managers and for our retail partners. The educator educates on our beauty care brands (i.e. Annemarie Borlind skin care & cosmetics and Naturtint hair colour) and provides information above and beyond the standard product knowledge level. A TallGrass beauty educator participates in ongoing beauty training as new information and products are available & offers insights and ideas to support our work together as a team.

### **Critical Success Factors**:

- Esthetician or Cosmetologist experience
- Excellent knowledge about skin care products
- Special interest in working with natural beauty care products
- Product knowledge - in depth understanding of our beauty brands (with training provided)
- Inspirational - provide informative and inspiring trainings to the public
- Audience engagement - able to reach both retailer and consumer audiences
- Impactful - able to increase sales by providing outstanding seminars & product demos
- Sales ability - must be able to sell a minimum of $200 worth of product in a four-hour product demonstration

### **Competencies**:

- Excellent public speaker, teacher/educator
- Knowledge of the natural health & beauty industry
- Beauty retail sales experience is an asset
- Organized & able to work well independently
- Charismatic, friendly & approachable
- Strong communication skills and team oriented
- Social media following & business website
