**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with bank account reconciliation and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Perform data entry tasks to update and maintain accounting databases and spreadsheets
- Support the accounting manager with clerical duties such as filing, scanning, and organizing documents, journal entries, month end financial procedures
- Handle accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing clients, posting of deposits to pay accounts, posting of trust deposits
- Utilize accounting software such as Esilaw 360, knowledge of Excel/Word to input and retrieve financial data - along with working with disbursements and closing legal files
- Handle accounts payable, processing invoices/cheques/inquiry on overdue payments or missing payments
- Provide general administrative support to our corporate legal department as needed

**Skills**:

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

**Salary**: $4,166.67-$5,000.00 per month
