The Technical Project Manager manages all aspects of business intelligence / data projects, develops project plans, coordinates team activities and accomplishes project objectives. The Project Manager ensures that deliverables are on track and provides regular project status updates. The Project Manager provides direction and leadership to team members regarding scope, schedule, budget, risks and tasks.

**Responsibilities**:
- Ensure delivery of all aspects of data, analytics and reporting projects- Provide project status information on a regular basis by tracking, monitoring and communicating progress against the project plan, requirements, development, quality measures, and milestones- Create and maintain all documents contained in the project plan, including issues / risks log and project change requests to manage project-level scope, schedule and budget- Contribute to project efficiency by recommending opportunities to streamline project approach and accelerate delivery- Effective communication of project progress to stakeholders and team members- Establish and manage key stakeholder relationships to ensure that key decision makers are involved in the appropriate aspects of the project- Deliver quality project results on time and within budget. Analyze variances and initiate corrective action / continuous improvement- Enhances business intelligence and technology group reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests

Required Skills and Qualifications- Experience with project management methodologies- Proven ability to manage teams and remediate project risks/issues- Effective relationship building skills, with exceptional communication and negotiation skills including the ability to negotiate adequate resources (e.g., schedule, budget, staffing, tools, facilities, etc.).- Ability to explore improvement opportunities and add value to deliverables- Critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills- P & C Insurance industry experience preferred
