**WAGE RANGE**:

- Scale Minimum Maximum- NONU $23.24/hr $27.60/hr**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Responsible for registration including processing of emergency registrations and admissions, registering mom/baby patients, admitting and discharging.
- Responsible for answering phones at the Emergency ACC desk, paging doctors overhead on the PA system, paging on call doctors, faxing and arranging for transfers stat and otherwise.
- Responsible for answering, managing and directing all incoming calls while covering Call Centre.
- Demonstrate QCH values: collaboration, accountability, innovation and respect

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- High School Diploma
- Six months hospital related experience
- Certificate in Medical Terminology
- Typing/keyboarding speed of 60 wpm
- Aptitude for accuracy and attention to detail and be able to work under pressure, dealing with stressful situations
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

**PREFERRED**:

- Six months experience as receptionist or within a call centre
